About me

I was born in Teramo (Italy) in 1986. I obtained my MSc degree in December 2009 in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and I am currently employed (since 2010) as Modeling and Simulation Scientist (R&D scientist) at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). In the meanwhile I worked on my PhD. at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in Nuclear Engineering (graduation Feb. 2016). My research interests revolve around the development of reactor physics and uncertainty quantification codes. I am the main developers of the Reactor Physics code "Parallel and Highly Innovative Simulation for INL Code System" (PHISICS), coupled with the system safety simulation tool RELAP5-3D, and of the uncertainty quantification and Probabilistic Risk Assessment code RAVEN (Risk Analysis Virtual ENvironment), for which I serve as technical leader as well.
